The Fiddlecase are a traditional Irish music band that can deliver anything from pure trad music to spontaneous super-charged jams. They will warm your heart with their emotional performance of songs and instrumental music, with a raw and primal approach.
The band consists of: Kieran O’Connell (bodhran, guitar & vocals), Jon O’Connell (double bass, guitar, vocals), Adam Shapiro (fiddle, percussion, vocals) and Eoin O’Neill (bouzouki).
Comprising of the O’Dálaigh brothers, Cillian and Seán, along with mandolin maestro Denis McAuliffe, megaTRAD is not your typical trad band. With roots deep in East Clare, the trio has grown up surrounded by the rich tapestry of Irish music, song, and dance. Every performance of megaTRAD is completely unique and never to be heard in that particular arrangement again, guaranteeing each audience authenticity and a once-in-a-lifetime experience of immersive, contemporary, rich, and lively Irish Traditional Music of the 21st Century. They have also played at festivals such as Electric Picnic, All Together Now, The All Ireland Fleadh, Bloom Festival, and Shannonside Folk Festival.
